We bought a Sprint phone. The date of the end of our contract came and gone long ago. Last year, the Sprint representative said we were not using all of our minutes and asked if we wanted to switch rate plans. We did. Then, this year we find out Sprint tortures animals by sponsoring cruel rodeos. So, we call Sprint switch to inquire about porting the # to another carrier. However, Sprint customer service claims we still have another year on our contract which is not true. They said when we were conned into changing the rate plan that it extended the service agreement. But that is a lie. We never renewed the contract. All we did is change the rate plan.
It looks like Sprint can pay our legal fees on top of refunding the early termination fee.
