I received a letter from Sprint stating that I will be charged a fee of $4.99 if I do not sign up for automatic payments because I am on an Account Spending Limit. I have never gone over my limit or have services disconnect.
This just another way for them to get more money from poor people. I just signed a new 2 year contract so I can't cancel without paying $200 early termination fee. I am also unemployed so any additional fees is a strain.By law there are to give a 30 day notice but the letter was dated for 12/21/09 and the fee goes into effect on 01/10/10.. I would say that is not 30 days. As soon as my contract is up I will be leaving Sprint Nextel for Good. This is how they treat former employees.
