I purchased 3 Fridaire Appliances from the Lowes in El Paso on November 24. I waited 3 weeks for the delivery of the dishwasher and it was delivered around the 20th of December. The same day I sent in 2 rebate forms (one for $60 delivery and one for $500 for the appliances, with the required proof of purchase (bar codes) and rebate forms. I went to a MailBox ETC and the 2 letters were postmarked as I watched. The post mark had to be by 24 December 2006 to be valid.
On 25 Jan I got the $60 rebate. I called and to check the status of the $500 rebate and a recording told me to wait until 6-8 weeks after mailing. I checked on 3 March and I was told the rebate expired 19 February and was not received.
Kyle (employee # 3323 at Young America) told me he had the receipt showing the purchase of 3 appliances, the rebate amount, the purchase date and my contact information for the delivery fee rebate. He can't pay the rebate without the rebate form. Kyle did not get the rebate form from the Lowes rebate processing center in El Paso. The rebate center number is 1-877-204-1223. I have copies of the forms but the rebate center will not honor them. $500.00
