Wow, where do I begin. So I run a professional mortgage company in south florida and was looking for a cheaper ground line to run my office out of and keep my expenses down, all I needed was the state of florida for my loan officers so cleartel aka supratelecom seemed like a good choice.
I met with the sales person with my business partner on January 5th to get these lines set up and pay for the service, gave him the address of the residence etc. He tried numerous time to get us to go with a t-1 line but given the fact he said it would take 3 weeks vs a maximum of 7 days to 10 days for regular phone lines. We decided to go with regular phone lines because we needed a fast start up time. The salesperson Jeff assured us over and over again he would try and rush this so we could get set up as quick as possible.
7 days came and went, 10 days came and went, after this weekend, 20 days will have come and went and still no phone lines. We have had constant reassurance that there would be a rush put on this issue because 'this doesnt happen ever' and 'they have excellent customer service'.
Well i'll tell you what, its now the 19th and we finally got a hold of the people who know anything about the status of our situation. Turns out the account executive Jeff Dreyfus never even put our order in for 3 days. Than his supposed expediting of our situation doesn't exist in their system, likely because he never did anything. He messed up the address of the property 2 times now! It was written on a peice of paper properly when we signed the info for our phone line! So according to their people in the company who can actually tell us something, they figure it will be another 10 days or so till they get around to installing our lines.
Take into account I am trying to run a mortgage company without proper phone lines. We spoke with our appraisal company who uses the same company for their T-1 lines and they told us it took 3 months for the t-1 lines to be installed! This is a total nightmare company to deal with, they promise you everything and deliver nothing.
Stay away from this company if you value your time and money. The price looks good but the service is non existant. If they are this bad just getting set up with a phone system, what are they like if the phone line goes down. Stay away from them.
