Fraudulent charges for equipment Ripoff

In August we had Dish Network installed. We did not sign a lengthy service contract, chose to lease the equipment and paid over $200 for installation. Called them in October and advised that we were dissatisfied with the product and wanted to stop the service. They advised us that the equipment must be returned and that boxes would be shipped to us via UPS, so we could return it.

We have never received the boxes and have called at least 5 times. The customer service reps (if you could even call them that) are rude and refuse to provide their names. They admit that the boxes have never been sent but assure it will done so now (LOL). We have offered to physically take the equipment to a office or dealer in our area, or to mail it using UPS ourselves, only to be told that was unacceptable, their boxes must be used for returns.

On December 23, they billed our debit card (without any warning) a total of $600 for equipment. They emptied our account two days before Christmas! We have disputed this charge with the bank.

Before doing business with this company, please be aware that they want your money more than their equipment. They make it impossible to return their equipment, have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, and in my experience a poor product.

I will never do business with this company again or anyone connected with it. Think twice before you do either or you could be letting yourself in for a big headache.
