1 YEAR later and STILL no rebate checks! No help to be found, only excuses! District of Columbia

A year ago (Oct 05) I sent in all my rebate info to Inphonic/wirefly which stated to allow 10-12 weeks for processing. Still no checks.

5 months later (Mar 06) I recieved an e-mail saying my checks were sent to me. A month and a half later I was still waiting by the mailbox for the checks. I called the rebate center who said they would have to reprocess my info and send out new checks, I was told by a supervisor that it would be another 12 weeks for processing and there was no way to speed it up.

A few weeks later (Apr 06) I recieved 2 letters (one for each $150 rebate) saying that I did not submit my wireless bill. Funny how that could be if they had supposedly sent me my checks once already. I called the rebate center again and they said they would override the mistake and get my new checks out but it would be 12 weeks and no longer.

A few months went by (Aug 06) and I called to check on the status of my rebates. "They are still being processed" I was told. Big surprise.

I called again at the begining of this month (Oct 06) and spoke with yet another supervisor. They said they were going to pull my info and investigate it and will have my checks on their way in 2 weeks.

Well today is 2 and a half weeks later and after 4 phone calls I have yet to speak with a supervisor (like that would even help anyway). First they were on a conference call and a customer (so which one is they lie buddy), then a customer call, then a meeting, and an hour later still in a meeting.

"They will call you at their earliest convenience", how about my convenience? It's pretty inconvenient for me to wait a year for my money, to make calls to the customer service reps who's job is to say whatever gets you off the phone quickest, and to have to go through all this just to get my own money back!

Is there anything I can do about it? Someone needs to stop this company from doing this kind of thing to so many customers.
