Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing florida

I received a letter from Cavalry Portfolio Services saying they had purchased for collection an account from Sprint Wireless that belonged to me. Said I owed $729.49. I do have an account with Sprint, have been employed with them for over 26 years, and do currently have an account with them, but this account is up-to-date. I have repeatedly requested proof that I opened this account with them, and have received no proof at all. I have called Sprint, and they will not take my calls.

I called and complained to Cavalry and they sent me a Fraud Statement of Dispute form to fill out including requests that I send copies of my SS#, Drivers License, etc with the form. I have done this twice. This has been going on for 3-4 years.

I also checked my credit report and they will remove it, then somehow they are showing up on my credit report again and again, as an account under collection.

I have written them a letter back requesting that the info be withdrawn from my credit report as well as filing complaints with the FTC, Florida Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau.

WHat else can I do and how long is it going to take to clear up my credit report?
