Inphonic Rebate Center
Inphonic rebate ripoff center fraudulently ripped me off via $300.00 in rebates

3/17/06
i bought a cell phone online from myrateplan.com on 2/11/05. I had it turned on through cingular wireless. I was to have received $300.00 in rebates for this phone through inphonic rebate center (the rebate company that handles rebates for myrateplan.com). I have given you a timeline of all events below from my phonecalls with inphonic trying to get my rebates.

8/15/05
i mailed my rebates in for a $150.00 customer loyalty rebate and a $150.00 for a customer appreciation rebate. These 2 rebates i was to receive totalled $300.00.

11/15
i submitted 2 rebates for a cell phone i purchased. A customer loyalty rebate and a customer appreciation rebate. Both were for $150.00 each. I submitted both exactly as i was told. Everything was filled out perfectly. All information required and needed was supplied. I bought this phone because of the rebates.$300.00 in total rebates. The rebate center i was told to mail them to was in white bear lake, mn.

11/15
i was told that my rebates from inphonic were being reshipped to another location in scottsdale, az to be processed because their processing center changed
locations and it would take longer to get my money. They also said they were having computer problems also. They said i would have both rbate checks by december.

12/15
i was told the (2) $150.00 checks had been mailed out and i should have them within 2 weeks.

1/1/06
i called and told them i still had not received them. They said it takes time for the mail and i had to call them back in 2 more weeks if i had not received them.

2/1/06
i called them back and said i still had not received them and wanted to know why. They said they must have been lost in the mail. 2 separate rebates in different
letters lost. They said they would recend me out 2 new checks.

2/15/06
i called them back and said i still had not received the checks. They said when they cancelled the old checks that they had to reprocess both my rebates again and that it would take some time to get my rebates.

3/1/06
i called back and they said the rebates were still in processing.

3/17/06
i called back and they said the rebates still wer being processed and still were not ready to be shipped. I told them this was rediculous. I had wait 6 months after i
bought my phone in january just to mail my reabates in. When i mailed them in to them in august they were supposed to have mailed my rebate checks out to me
within 10 to 12 weeks. That means i should have had my rebate checks in november of last year. All i get is the runaround everytime i call them. I don't believe anything
they say anymore. I feel they commited fraud to me and will not stand for it. I took care of my part of the deal and now they are trying to get out of doing their part. I
told them on 2/15/06 if i did not get my $300.00 in rebates i promised i will take any and every legal action that i can to resolve this. I will not let a company steal from me. I asked them for their name but they wouldn't give it to me. The only thing they would
give me was a address:

Inphonic rebate center
p.O. Box 52900
phoenix, az 85072

I asked for a direct phone number to a person in charge or a street address for their business and all they would give me was the above address and said if i wanted a phone number to use the same one i called them on which is 1-866-800-4303 which is a computerized rebate center number to check on rebates only. I asked these questions:

The last 3 times i talked to them and was told the same thing.
