After much saving my 11 year old son purchased a pre-paid Tracfone from Wal-Mart that included a digital camera. After less than 24 hours of use the phone no longer worked. We contacted the TracPhone 1-800 number, explained the problem and followed instructions to return it in a pre-paid envelope for a new phone.
The new phone arrived in about 2 days and as my son anxiously waited to get his hands on it, I realized it was a cheaper model than the original phone purchased. Once again, we made the necessary calls to find out what to do now. "Oh! We are so sorry about your inconvience and apologise" I was told over and over by a telephone representative who could not be understood.
This routine went on for several more encounters and 3 times we were sent the downgraded model. Even when speaking to a "Floor Supervisor" the language was broken... Foriegn. Severe language barrier. I was told another phone would be sent and complementary minutes would be added to my account.
Next point of contact I was told this case would be taken to HeadQuarters and Resolution Dept... Then told that the comp minutes could ONLY be added to the original phone that I did not even possess any longer. I am exhausted in trying to resolve tis issue... I can only guess that is the response that they wanted. Since I am not able to resolve this issue in a fair manner... Guess I'll just spout off to the public.
