On Dec 24 I purchased one year service for my tracfone which also included 300 mins. Of airtime for $99. When I went to add on the new mins. It only came up to 150, not 300. I made several attempts to enter the code I was given by tracfone, but the phone kept saying it was not correct. Finally the phone shut down all together. I tried calling and the message stated tracfone was closed for the day. I did not call the following day because it was Christmas and assumed they were closed.
I called on 26 Dec and tracfone informed me that they could not give me the 150 extra mins because they did not know if I had used those mins from the time of purchase to when I was calling. I told tracfone that I did not believe them and there was some way that they could trace my mins. Used, but they still said no and implied that I could have used the mins. I do not believe they have no way of telling if I used up my mins or even used my phone. I did not use 150 mins and got ripped off of 150 mins. Of airtime.
