On 2/9/09 I purchased a Tracfone 120 minute card at Walmart to ADD minutes to my Tracfone. I had to call TRACFONE because the system wouldn't add the minutes. They could not add the minutes and said they would do it from their office and I would see the minutes added to my phone in 48 hours, and they would call me to confirm that it was done. The gave me a ticket number for reference.
On 2/16/09 I still did not have my minutes added and had never received a call from Tracfone. I gave them my ticket number when I called and was told the same thing and would receive my minutes and get a call in 48 hours. I never got my minutes.
On 2/26/09 I called three times and talked to three separate customer service representatives; Elston Umbil, Handler, and John. John would not give his last name, but provided an ID number (ID# 53970). None of these people could figure out how to add minutes to my phone. I have a Nokia TRACFONE that was purchased from TRACFONE. This is phone that they provide and support.
I still do not have an operating phone and have spent countless hours trying to get my phone minutes added to no avail. Avoid tracfone!!!
