Diamonds from Sears, Buyer Beware!
I cannot believe after all these years with sears that they would sell me such a terrible over priced 3 stone diamond ring for $2,000.00. I bought it in 12/03 and thought for 2,000 dollars it was a good diamond ring like the ones I used to purchased in the past from Sears. This ring was sized to fit me so I could not return. It was also of lower quality than the igi report had stated it was.
Under Sears store lighting it was beautiful and sparklings but after I took it home and wore it in other places with different lighting it was so full of inclusions and floresants that no one could believe Sears sold such garbage rings at that price. This ring was really worth about 600.00 tops. I wore it a few times and never again.
Just recently I tried to sell it and I was quoted from 350.00 - 425.00 from jewelry buyers and average people who were looking for a ring as a gift. I want to warn everyone that Sears diamonds are garbage and when they show you their better quality rings like they did to me do not believe them. They do not sell good diamonds anymore. My 2,000 ring went down in value in these past 3 years.
Here is what I recently did, cancelled my Sears account and made my family promise to never shop at Sears as long as they live. Sears lost a good customer because I was ready to buy a Maytag washer, dryer, and fridge from them.
