Looking to see if anyone else has this problem...
I have had cingular for about 10 years and have been a good devout customer to them. About ten days ago I received a message on my phone that they were canceling my contract because I was in violation of my contract. I had no clue what they were talking about so I called the number thet left... The reason they gave me was that I had used more "off network" minutes than "on network" minutes. I did not even know what she was talking about and she did not explain it either.
She said that they had sent out a letter two weeks eailer and said I was in violation. I moved about eight monts ago to a little place that is out of there coverage area so I am on someone else tower. They said they had been doing a study and that anyone that used more than 50% "off network" minutes would be terminated. I have told them that I am going to move back into there area in September but they said forget it...
I have a question for all of you, how many are they doing this to... I have a lot of roll over minutes that I will lose if they do this... Is this what it is about???
