I signed up for the dvr service because i was told that after I paid the $100, I would recieve a $100 rebate, making my dvr free. After 3 months I had not recieved my rebate. I contacted my local direct tv office and was told that was not them, but the main company. So i called the main company and they said it was my local company. So i kept calling untill I finally got information from the main office saying that i need to fill out a rebate form and they would send it in the mail. 2 months later I had not recieved my form. I called back and was told that the rebate offer was no longer available and I had waited to long to fill out my form, A FORM I NEVER RECIEVED!!! So what can you do? I yelled and threatend to call a lawyer and they said basicly that it was to bad, the rebate time was over. DIRECT TV rebates are a ripoff.
