Almost 3 months ago I ordered a HP DVD writer from tigerdirect.com. It sounds like a good deal. Refurbished, $109.99 with a $50 mail in rebate. Like before, I tested the product and filled in the rebate form, cut the UPC barcode from the packaging box and mailed them. I have waited more than 2 months for the never arriving $50 rebate. They said in the rebate form that I should receive the rebate in 6 to 8 weeks. I tried several times to call the rebate center and only got busy signals. One morning I called at 8:00am sharp and finally got through. The lady I talked to just denied they ever recieved my letter. Then I just asked what remedy could get me the $50. The lady told me I could just forget about it since the rebate program was already closed.
