We mailed in five separate forms for their $75 gift card rebate on Owens Corning insulation. Also a $40 rebate on a Ridgid shop vacuum. The form says 4-6 weeks. After 9 weeks we inquired on the web site and was informed that they have not received any of them. We are then told they are changing over their website and not to worry.
I contacted Home Depot customer service with specific concerns and got a form email saying overwhelming response and wait a 2-4 weeks. Then in contact with someone at the rebate center we are told they never received anything and to remail. So after losing six different mailings, they expect me to mail them all again.
We are then told we can fax or email our paperwork to them in a jpeg form. We do this and are told they can't open them. We resubmit in separate emails following their instructions and again get a response that they can't open the emails. Now they want us to re mail or fax at our expense. We made these purchases at Home Depot for the rebate to use on our project. The 4-6 week window worked for us but when it got to 10 weeks with no end in site we had to forsake the $415 in rebates and purchase the rest of our supplies with cash.
