I sent a faxed request to you on 6/6 to cancel my account. This account still appears open. I want my contract that I have held with you for so many years terminated immediately. I will not pay you another penny for your lack of service. Multiple second opinions (one from your very own contractor who serviced my unit previously) revealed that my unit was old (24 years old) and it did not stop working due to lack of maintenance, as the contactors you sent to my home All About Comfort (in Georgia) stated.in fact the industry life for air conditioners has been set at 15 years. Mine lasted 24! Obviously the unit had been maintained sufficiently to give it an extra 9 years of service!
It is interesting that you contract with companies that appear to "diagnose" problems in such a way that you profit. But that $45 I paid just to be told that you won't pay for service and a new unit has cost you and All About Comfort a few thousand dollars—just from me. It is apparent that you contract with these types of companies so that you can give the appearance of providing service, but works closely with you so you can get out of holding your end of the full service agreement. However, in this case... This company has cost you my business.
I will be sure to let everyone I know your current and potential future customers of my personal experience with your companies. I have already shared my experience with the service providers that I called to get quotes and estimates of what you and All About Comfort has done. It is apparent that the local industry knows of this company's not so positive reputation as well as yours. The responses I received have ranged from laughter to statements about me being scammed& I was also told by companies that have dealt with you either currently or in the past of how your company has encouraged contractors to meet a certain percentage of refusals, denials, and there are incentives for them to lie... As in my case. Stating there was "lack of maintenance". This is a very interesting scenario that I am sure a few hungry investigators would love to get there hands on. I realize what your company and All About Comfort pulled on me. Please believe that I will share my experience with the proper authorities that regulate each of your industries.
Thankfully, I was able to get a brand new unit with parts and labor—for a very very decent price... And was able to have my unit installed within 24 hours of contracting &it took you and All About Comfort five days to come out. It is great knowing that I saw through your tactics, and was able to not be victimized by you... It was wonderful knowing I had the means to pay for a brand new unit in full and gave my money to someone else— not you and not your contractor!
