In Jan. I had a fire in my home. The satellite boxes for dishnetwork were destroyed. I called them and per their request I faxed a letter explaining what had happened. I did not hear from them for about 3 weeks and when I did hear from them it was in the form of 2 boxes being left at the address of the fire by UPS, for me to send back the equipment. I thought nothing of it, since I had called and couldn't send the equipment back because they were no longer in existence.in my letter I requested to have my service put on hold until my home was repaired in about 2-3 months.
In Mid Feb I went to the ATM to withdraw money and they, DISHNETWORK had withdrawn $638.00 from my account. I called and was told that it did not matter that I wanted to keep the service after my home was repaired, they wanted their equipment back. And it does not matter what card or checking account I have used in the past to pay my bill, they would debit any account that has shown up on my records regardless of the fact if it was mine or a family memebers or just a friend.
I've e-mailed them 2 times and still have not received a response. They are dogs, wtih no compassion for anyone.
