Here is what happened. I ordered Dishnetwork satellite service from a company on the internet (Digital Satellite Connections) they in turn charged my card $49.99 and then Dishnetwork calls me to set up installation. I did not have to pay Dishnetwork anything until my first bill. Then the installer (Blue Sky Satellite) informed me that I had no clear view to have satellite installed. So I called Dishnetwork and canceled. No problem until recently I notice that I never received my refund. I called Dishnetwork and they directed me to Digital Satellite. I can not get a reply from Digital Satellite by e-mail (4 total) and repeated calls to an answering system that just keeps repeating the same thing but never gives you a person. I never received a confirmation or anything from Digital other than the call from Dishnetwork.
Now my credit card company won't even do anything cause they say that I need an actual cancel form from Digital Satellite which that obviously is not going to happen. So I will just have to cancel my card and find a new card company as well as be out the $49.99 I got beat out of. I am starting to believe that it was a scam from the get go. The reason I say that is cause Dishnetwork does not have any clue as to who this Digital Satellite Connections is. The guy I talked to at Dishnetwork tried for quite a while and could not find them in his database. My suggestion to anyone wanting satellite service would be to go directly to the Satellite company. Or better yet get cable!!
