We had my grandmother's chair shipped up from Oklahoma because she was moved into a nursing home here in New Hampshire. The driver had clear directions of where our house was. He got lost and it took longer for the chair to get here. That was understandable since we are hard to find and he had never been up here before.
When he got to our place, he had a real frustrated look on his face. I helped my mother and this guy with the package (He was promised help with the heavy chair, although he should have brought another mover with him). He opened up the back and threw the dolly out the back in a very rude and aggressive manner.
So we all took a side to lower the 218 lb. Chair out of the truck. I made an effort to carefully lower it without over exerting myself.in return, the driver said in a rude and snide tone, "Your mother is more of help than you are". It took everything I had to hold back from going crazy on this guy. I do not respond well to insults or to belittlement.
He was nasty and rude. If Yellow Transportation thinks this is what passes as an ideal employee, then they don't deserve any business.
