On 4/19 my mother in-law bought my husband a Lane Recliner lane -11959/4499-16 Lane Lucas Camel Storage Recliner $372.95 with tax total $404.18 Paid in cash. The seat of the chair broke about three weeks after warranty went out. I do not understand why this chair did not hold up and whatever it is made of which seems like a board or something hard under the cushion broke, also it has caused the chair not to recline. I contacted Mathis Brothers in Tulsa, Okla. Where we live. The chair has not been abused as my hysband is the only one that sets in it, we are the only two people that live here. I have all the paper work where the chair was purchased. I do not understand why Mathis would not help us with at least a partial credit or offer to fix it I was told we would have to pay for the repairs. As I said it was just a few weeks out of the warranty but feel we should have had some help with repair or credit. I have a friend that had a chair purchased from Mathis brother her chair broke in the same way was at least 2 years old and was given a credit to purchase something else. I feel we should get some help in either fixing the chair or a credit to help replace this chair especially as it was a gift. Thank you for any help you can give to us. Don P.
