Ought a dining room table and chairs on line. After a month went by, i called to find out how things were going. They told me that my table was on back order, and that it would be another two weeks until it would be shipped. No problem. Two weeks later they called me, and told me they has no idea when the table would be in, and maybe i would want another table instead. No problem. I picked out another table and they told me it would be delivered with-in one week. Never heard anything for 2 weeks. Finally got table and chairs delivered to my home. I opened boxes, table damaged, one chair broken. No problem. Called that day, and they told me they would send me a new table top and chair. Two more weeks go by. Finally new chair arrives. However they did not send the correct pieces to put together the chair, so it was usless! Table top never came.
Before i ever had the chance to call and tell them about the chair, my mother sat on one of the other chairs, and the base snapped in half! (mother is 104 lbs.)
Called then to tell them that i wanted my money back, or to just send me the original table that i wanted. (this was a little more expensive / different kind of wood, so i thought it might be better quality) they told me it was discontinued now.
I told them i wanted my money back then.
This company told me to ship it to them, and then they would credit my card. I told them that i would ship it to them.-howevwer they are now telling me that i have to not only PAY for the shipping to send it back to them, but i also have to PAY for the ORIGINAL SHIPPING OF THE TABLE AND CHAIRS!!!
So basically after all is said and done, i will get about one forth of my money back-after paying shipping for both delivery and return, on a table that was in my house for 12 days!
Not to mention, i have never been treated so rude on the phone in my life! -hung up on, called a liar and yelled at!
