Walmart theft prevention absurd and ridiculous

I was recently arrested by wal mart theft prevention and the city police department, for a crime that was invented in there head for fun. I shopped for an hour or so and proceeded to the check out line and was waited on by a cashier{note... Not self checkout} were i spent a total of 400 dollars and some change which during the cashier in a hurry had rang up my first total which was 175.00 which i corrected her on and then she realized that she didnt ring up a lcd monitor, which the reciept shows two different sub totals and then my total was 400.

Well as i sat in almost the same spot and waited for my friend to check out. {please note if i was trying to steal i wouldve proceeded out of the store in a hurry, at least i think i would, }well to make a long story short as we walked out the police were waiting for us or just pulling up at that time they asked me to come back inside the store they want to discuss some unpaid dvds in the cart. At this point im a little confused but i proceed back in the store to have this young rookie proceed to feed me this line of b/s and explain to me that im under arrest. At this time i am almost histeracle and his partner proceeds to tell me that if i go all the way that they will not proceed to take it further in court system. Note these are theft prevention speaking. I was booked in for retail theft, i want to turn this b/s around and have there jobs for playing with peoples live for fun. I was not the only one put under this ridicule, can any one help?
