I cannot even beleive what is happening. My husband is accused of shop lifting at WalMart. We had just spent the day at my doctors verifying my terminal condition and talking of my health directives.
He had taken me home and went to get my medication. While at Walmart he was picking up a bag of dog food and since I had ran out of ink for my online college class, he thought he would get a cartridge.
He was kept in the store waiting for my prescription for over 1 hour.in the meantime I had called him, crying and upset. When the prescription was filled he paid for everything, he thought. The cashier had told him to leave the dog food in the cart and just pull off the tag, what a mistake. He had forgotten about the cartridge, which had slipped under the dog food. He was stopped before he reached the car and was confronted by what was a loss prevention person (not what I really want to call this idiot) Greg Fox. Greg Fox, threw slang words at him and cursed at him.
My husband was ordered back inside and was told the police had already been called. My husband had just spent close to 100.00 and had the money to pay for this item and offered to, however was not allowed.
All during the wait time for the police Greg Fox called him every name he could think of. I am not sure if he was trying to get my husband to hit him or what.
We made our first appearance in court and asked for more time since the loss prevention had came up with another loss prevention person (which is not even mentioned in the report) however claims he was a wittness. The report was packed full of lies, my husband had never saw the report before that day.
While waiting for our chance to see the prosecutor I was followed out to my car by the loss prevention guys, GREG FOX and some other person (the one that just happened to show up at court and everyone forgot he was there before. I could hear GREG FOX smarting off as they stood back behind my car.
I can only imagine what my husband went through at WalMart by these two want to be's. My husband has never been in trouble with the law all his 44 years, it is pure stupidity he would purposely steal a stupid ink cartridge. WalMart is out for what they can possibly get. They got the cartridge back and now want another 50.00 for it.
In the meantime it is messing up my husbands chance to get the job he has been trying for. His last job he worked at for over 15 years, and has another well paying job, only due to the old company lay offs.
I am still in shock at the actions of these two, I cannot think help is that hard to find to have to hire people such as this. There was no reason at all for their type of behavior. Once the police did arrive, my husband was questioned by the police in reguards to my medication, and was told by the police they wanted to setup my doctor.
When my husband said the doctor had never done anything illegal and explained my condition, he was arrested. It's time to find a way to fight back. WalMart and it's want to be cops have to be stopped.
My husband's attorney (if that is what you want to call him) kept trying to talk my husband into diversion. That is something he will not do. He did not intentionally deprive anyone of anything. I will also see where the tapes are.
