When approaching the 12 items or less line, the cashier was very rude and said, "How many items do you have?". I was putting my groceries on the counter and was very much aware of the line that I had decided to check out at. Immediately before I could put my groceries on the counter, I was told by the young cashier that I could only get into her line if I had 12 items or less. Mentioning to her that I had read the sign, and my friend and I had used only one carriage, she proceeded to let me know that her line was only 12 items or less and I was very upset that she didn't want to wait on us. She walked away from her post at the cash register and I called for her to come back and she diliberly ignored me and a young male came to hear what was going on and I thought that was the manager and I proceeded to tell him what was going on and he said he was told that I cursed at the cashier in which, I DO NOT USE PROFANITY and I told him that. He then turned from me and said "let me get a manager" Being very surprised that he was not the manager, I asked to speak to a Real Manager.
A gentlemen by the name of Kevin came along and asked what was going on. Told me he had heard I had cursed the cashier out and I proceeded telling him the story. I have shopped at this store for as long as it has been there and never had this problem before. Danielle, the young cashier did not have her name tag on until the real manager appeared. I had asked for her name in the beginning but she refused to give it to me in the beginning. My reasons for writing this is because I can read very well and knew what line I had gotten into. The store was not packed and there was no one besides my friend in line and one other lady. Why should I have to go through such rudeness in a store that I have always gotten good service? Please send me a letter back with some type of compensation for the stress I was taken through by this young lady and give her some training in dealing with the public.
