I had a family share plan with Cingular in April. Neither of the phones could send/receive calls inside my home. Signals were weak or non-existant regardless of where I was.
After 4 weeks of lousy service and no improvements, I cancelled my contract and paid for the service for the one month. After no contact for a year, I received a letter from a collection agancy saying I owe Cingular $1,609. I refuse to pay this because their service was so poor. Needless to say, I am not alone with a complaint against this company. Unfortunately, they have sent a negative report to the credit agencies. They should be ordered to cease and desist.
