Me and my fiance were treated in an extremely unprofessional way by the loss prevention employees (TWO), male and female. They were disrespectful and demeaning towards me in particular and then my fiance said he was calling his lawyer and the male with the hat with loss prevention started screaming and briskly following us although the problem was supposedly settled. The item was a damaged product, broken eyeliner worth $4.97. Now I looked up Walmart's policy and it clearly states that Walmart cannot by any means prosecute any product under $25.00 and was also told by the woman in those same exact words. Now again the product was defective as well. They were being completely irrational and I felt threatened, as well as my my fiance. I shop at Walmart at least 2-3 times a week for groceries, household items, etc. This has been the worst experience I have have ever came in contact with in ANY corporation and/or employee. Now to my understanding it is morally wrong even for a multi-billion business to charge 10 times the amount for a defective product! As my fiance and i were leaving we quickly asked two cashiers if they were satisfied with their wages and treatment from the company, and to my prediction, they quickly replied "come on now, of course not, but there is nothing we can do about it!:" I also do not appreciate the way they handled their so-called professional Walmart customer service (LOSS PREVENTION). I did not even steal anything nor my husband but had to sign a paper which i was not even given time to read. So now I am banned??? I am extremely disgusted with this situation and so is my lawyer. I just don't understand the morals of these particular employees. Please help me because my lawyer is furious! He said there was no lawful reason why me nor my fiance should have been treated in this disrespectful manner. One more concern i have, they accused me of stealing something I DID NOT STEAL! What advise do you have for me because my lawyer has quite a bit. I don't want to have to take all of this that far, but I full-heartedly know that i have been wronged by your company! I am almost done with my schooling to become a RN in college and I am an intelligent person with true moral values and compassion in my heart. PLEASE HELP ME understand this mess!
