I agree with Denise. This was a complete rip off to try to get tickets to Hannah Montana. I had 4 friends helping me try to get tickets. Two of us were dumb enough to pay the $30 to join the fan club thinking we could get the presale tickets. On the day of the presale, they were already sold out. Even for 1 ticket. We too had people try to get tickets when they went on sale on Saturday to the general public, via internet, in the store and calling. I started 10 minutes before and still couldn't even get 1 ticket. Out of 117 people in line at publix, after getting there at 7:30 A.M., only 1 person got tickets. I even tried ebay and was outbid at $700.00. We have written to the fan club demanding our money back and it didn't inform you that you weren't guaranteed tickets until after you had already paid. There is no way that all of the presale and public sale tickets sold out that fast (to normal buyers).
The brokers already had tickets listed at $250.00 each (for the $26.00 seats) on Friday before the public sale. This is insane! I hope every parent will write the Hannah Montana fan club and ticketmaster and complain. It won't get us ticket but maybe it will let them know that true fans (the kids) aren't happy about getting ripped off by brokers.
