Complaint / review text:
Paid $6000.00 (which I will never do with Empire or anyone else for that matter) for approx. 1800Sq. Ft. Of Berber in my house.
Original install had issue with a row of loops missing so called them back, they sent out the original installer who told me that the issue was caused by our 15lb. Pug dog or our vacuum (Dyson). So I called Empire and told them that if this is the case with their most expensive carpet then take it out!
They sent a different install crew in and this crew did not lay the carpet square to the walls so it is no sitting at an angle and looks terrible. After Robert from the Dallas center came by to look at it (it was supposed to be replaced that day but he came with no crew) he stated that they did a terrible job as well as the original crew because they seemd the master bedroom in the wrong place so they will replace ALL of the upstairs on Saturday.
I travel extensively for work so I flew home Friday evening just in time to take apart my Bowflex and clear our much of the rooms for Saturday install...installers show up but DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH CARPET WITH THEM!!!
To date i have stayed home from work 4 days to fix this crap!
My current state of mind is that they come and take out ALL of their carpet and I will GO TO LOWES AND HAVE THEM DO IT AS I DID IN MY RENTAL AT A FRACTION OF THE COST AND DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!
