I read reviews a little to late! First, being new to purchasing carpet, I was unaware that you could haggle about price, so thinking this was an honest business, (first mistake) accepted the price quoted. Not until after reading reviews did I realize I'd been had! Dishonest. Dishonest... Dishonest... Anywaythe day carpet was installed, the installers ruined my molding. Contacted Empire, and its been three days now, no one has called me back to address problem. Additionally, the carpet was of the poorest quality. I don't believe this carpet will last thru the next year! I honestly don't know how they have stayed in business this long. So if you are wondering about choosing EMPIRE to install your flooring, PLEASE... Please... Run. Run. RUN TO YOUR nearest Home Depot or Lowes. No, you may not get it done overnight with the other companies, but at least you won't feel as if you've been taken advantage of, and the workmanship is of better quality. My neighbor is very happy he took my advice and stayed far, far away from Empire!
