Gonna be HOMELESS due to greedy Real Estate Agent in Susanville, CA handling Fannie Mae foreclosures for sale

We have been renting our home for 5 years, the past 2 from Fannie Mae. During the past 2 years we have been told that we would have first option to purchase the home when it came on the market. The property was given to a Susanriver Realty (Leann Smith) in Susanville, CA. On Feb 13 we put in our offer. The asking price was $162,900 (which was said to be 20% over the appraised value). We did our homework and comps in the area when we put in our offer. Fannie Mae countered us, we countered them. On Feb 24 we were told there were multiple offers and to put in our best offer, which we did. It came back that our offer of $135,000 was rejected. The winning offer was the $162,900 (by someone who had never seen the property). On 3/14 we received a message from the buyer that he was cancelling his offer. The property was posted on the website of Susanriver Realty but still showing "under contract" on Homepath. Finally on March 17th we were able to place an offer once again. On 3/18 it came back that there was multiple offers and to put in your best. We raised our offer to $137,000. Once again someone put in a higher offer, by someone who again had never seen the place.

Prior to the second buyer, thru an email, Susanriver Realty was asked to work with us if the deal from the first buyer fell thru.

This is a question that was asked of Leann Smith when our second offer was rejected" 2 appraisals are know and we are offering appraised value... What else can we do? Should we put in a higher bid contingent on appraisal and then renegotiate when the appraisal comes in?"That is what I would have done, if I wanted the house bad enough." Please advise. The offer that was accepted was superior to the tenants. Sorry

So sorry! In Siskiyou County this agent had 29 listing and of this she had "under contract" in the sum of $1,400, 000. Greed greed
