I am a buyers agent with Remax Executive Group in Orlando. Recently had a fannie mae property under contract but unfortunately buyer was denied a loan. Contract was contingent to loan approval and now listing agent is saying that selller (fannie mae) will not return escrow deposit to buyer. I dont believe Fannie Mae is to keep a first homebuyer money with no grounds to do so. I will like to know if there is a contact person for escrow releases.
