I have now put 2 offers in on a Fannie Mae home in the past year. After our first offer we were told to submit our highest and final offer. We were then told higher offers were submitted and the house would be sold to the highest bidder. The house sat with no activity for approximately 9 months. There was no notification that the house was under contract of that there was a sale pending. When now put another offer in, and are being told the same thing. If there are other offers then why isn't the house selling? How many times can Fannie Mae and Vince DeMelfi run interested buyers in circles? How long can they let the homes set and go unattended? I would think it would be ethical of both Fannie Mae and Mr. Delmelfi to work with buyers so that the burden of these foreclosures isn't continued to be put on the tax payer, or at least offer something in writing confirming the offers are being submitted and what the decision has been made on them.
