My Bosch Dishwasher needed a new main pump. Called Sears and made an appointment for 9a-1p at my apartment in NYC. Called at 12:30, they said he was on his way to my house. Guy finally showed up at 2:15 claiming he had no idea what my time windows was. He also added that Sears had lied about having called him at 12:30. He works for a different company but at least he called when he was on his way over.
Part arrived badly dinged up because it was poorly packed.
I made install appointment for 9a-1p again. I asked if I could be at the early end of that windows because I had to leave at 1:30 and it's got to be a 90 minute job, minimum. They said they had no control/influence over when the repairman comes within a given window.
After no one had shown up by noon, I rescheduled for today, Saturday, for the same 9a-1p window. When no one had shown up by 12:15, I called and he was "on his way." I called back at 1:15p to learn that the tech claimed that my building does not allow repairs on weekends. That was a lie. That is not my building's policy and no repair person attempted a visit today. Either he's going to the wrong building or is lying. No one tried to call me.
After 30 minutes on the phone with "escalation", another window was given for 3p-5p today. No show. Another call to "escalation" said that he'd retied to gain entry to my building. No attempt to call my phone.
These guys are so out of control of their business, it's a wonder they can keep it going.
