I refinanced my loan in mid-May with another lender, and cancelled automatic debits to my account. At the end of May, there was no auto debit, so I thought everything was ok. Then at the end of June, Chase debited my account for the old mortgage they had been paid off 45 days earlier. I called the same day and they said it was a mistake and would be refunded right away. I called again 12 days later, and now they are giving me the run around. They act like they don't now what I'm talking about and said that they will have to review my account. I plan to follow up with the DA, because it seems they are doing this on purpose.
