Having been in the mortgage business for 12 years, I already knew what a hassle Green Tree was in working with, in all aspects... Trying to get payoffs, items corrected on credit, escrow questions. Well I be damned if my GMAC Mortgage was transferred to these saps. I always paid like clockwork on the 15th every month, the day I get paid, and did it online. Well now, like clockwork, some smart ass customer service yahoo will call me monthly with a "I need you to call me now"... And when I call, they start their script with "do you intend to keep the property"... And every time I ask " why would you ask me that", and their reply is always the same..."uh... I'm not sure, I'm just supposed to ask." So every month I tell them the same thing, that I will pay on the 15th, the same way I have for 6 years... And then of course there is the high gross racket where they charge you $12.00 to pay online. What an absolute rag tag outfit this bunch is.
