I am another ticked off customer, I was very happy with GMAC until green tree got our loan. At first it started off ok, but than I switched home insurance (told them first that it was happening) so instead of listening to me, they paid the old insurance instead of the new insurance. I called tried to get it fixed which took a few months, by that time my new insurance cancelled us. I called green tree said they would take care of it, which they sent another check out for insurance. Than I got a late fee from new insurance which green tree said they would take care of it, guess how they took care of it? They took it out of our escrow!!! Than they re-did my escrow showed a shortage (dugh that happens when you pay two insurances) Now they say we are short on escrow and upped our payment by 200.00.in fact my new insurance saved me over 176.00, so my payment should have went down! Than I got the check from the first insurance, sent it to Green tree with a note saying to put back in escrow, guess what? Put it towards the principal. So I sent in my normal payment, and Jessica who first said she was a supervisor said until I pay the new payment there was nothing they could do, and if I did not get this payment in they were going to for-close on our house. Than at the end of our conversation said she was in the collection department.
