Paul Abbey Carpet very unprofessional!

Upon discussing in detail the home installation of ceramic tile, the worker shows up late on all three days, no grout, no cutter, no knowledge of what was to be installed; lack of communication between salesperson and workers. The worker later stated he was really not “tile guy". Not only did he leave early to finish another job, he left a huge mess and told me to get down on my knees and “scrub” the floor. I was supposed to have a choice of grout but he bought (last minute) the exact kind I said not to buy, gray grit. All these items, except molding/quarter round (?) were discussed prior. The grout was supposed to be sealed but he brought no sealant! What’s worse is that he had a doobie 3 minutes or less before arriving on the job. I called him on it and his response was “Well, I needed to distress”. What??!! It was the first job of the day, you haven’t started yet! The sales person assured me "our employees are not sub-contracted but have worked for them for years and are extremely skilled". Not only was I lied to by the sales person but I was sent an unskilled worker who arrived late, rushed, and left early! He was sweet as pie, but the job looks like crap! I complained and the sales person stated “I don’t understand what you are complaining about”. I never even heard from the supervisor or owner! It took 7 calls to get my overpayment refunded. It may be a small job to them but it is a big deal to me. I cancelled the carpet and flooring for the rest of the house. I want someone who cares!!
