I am a contractor who owns my own business. I have given Lowes all my business and I am well known by name to most employees that work day shift. One employee who recently started working the contractor register had a attitude and would not take my money towards my LAR card and I had to go to service desk and they in return told her that she is supposed to load my card at her register. She has had a attitude and is rude, One day I went in to make a purchase and was using my LAR card and she asked for my ID... I said i dont have it with e but you know who I am. I went to service desk and complained to manager that she does know who I am she is just being rude. THe manager actually told me that they teach their employees not to recognize or get to know the customers!!! I called the complaint line and told them what he said and they said he should not have said that. They took my complaint and someone called me and said he would address that issue and also the issue that I want the ID part taken off my card. That is my choice if I dont want that feature on it. He assured me he would work on it. I stopped going to LOwes for a bit and went back yesterday and the same rude employee saw me and I had told her I would never go back in her line to check out because not one other person in that store ever asked me for my ID that knows me personally. I checked out at the contractors register and as I was checking out she said they was making her ask for ID... When i was checking out they had the manager stand by her register... He knows who I am. I checked out but went straight to the service desk and got a full refund. This behaviour was uncalled for since they know me and have not been asking for ID and I have spent alot of money there. I have spent alot of money on big projects and many employees would greet us and ask us how our fence was going and had passed by our land abd seen the fence and they always took the time to talk to us in the store. Their recent behaviour and rudeness has left me with no other choice but to do business at another hardware store other then lowes. Lowes shows very poor customer care!!!
