My mother bought us a 9 cubic ft freezer for Christmas. She and I both have been in the hospital for heart related problems since then. We dont need the freezer.in fact we need other things like a mower and other things. I cant get the receit from her because she is in the hospital and not doing well. I called Lowes and told them I had no receipt and explained the situation. They told me as long as the freezer is still in the box and a current model I can bring it in and get store credit. So I called my father in law and got my son to help load it up because Im handycap and cant. We took it to Lowes and the lady working returns scanned it and said its current and in the system but she will need a override. After waiting 20 minutes a man named Tommy H walked around the corner looked me up and down and said " Im not touching that." I asked why and he said " Because, I dont know whats in that and where it came from." I asked him if he would look it up or at least check it out. I told him one of his employees told me to bring it up there. He said, " well thats your problem." I said my problem, I called and gave your employees the serial number and info and they told me to bring it up there. I told him Im handycap and it was very hard to get it up there. Tommy replied again " Thats your problem, have a nice day." I asked Tommy why he would not even look into the system to see if is a Lowes product or if he would find out what employee is answering the phones and telling people to bring things up there. He replied, "No. Have a nice day and pointed at the door." He did this about 5 times. I asked him if this is how Lowes does buisness and he replied "yes." Smiling and pointing at the door. Two other guys walked by and asked Tommy if he needed help with me. It looked like they were talking about physically removing me from the store. Tommy told them no he could handle me and kept telling me have a nice day while looking at the door. I asked again, is this how Lowes does buisness. He replies "yes we do, have a nice day while smiling. I asked him for his name and he told me Tommy H. I asked for his last name and he told me " you just tell them Tommy H. They will know who I am." I said ok and left. While trying to load this freezer up there were 3 Lowes employees just standing there watching a 70 yr old man, a 15 yr old boy, and a severly handycap man trying to load it up. They would not help. If this is how Lowes does buisness then my family and I dont want anything to do with them.
