I was looking up info on a motor vehicle and when i googled carfax, vehiclehistorynevada.com came up, it said it was 'free'. I went into the website and it showed a 1.00 fee. So i proceeded to enter my information. It gave me a superficial history about the vehicle, and thereafter i clicked on 'reports' and it showed i was charged 19.95. I called them and requested a refund and the person i spoke to seemed illiterate and said i will not be charged again—meaning he would stop it from systematically charging my credit card every month but he was elusive about refunding what they charged me. I also emailed: [email protected]. Iwas able to get this info from ripoff.com. Victims reported they did not get their 19.95 back but only were able to stop any further charges
