First the company runs an ad saying they are only looking for a few top sales people, who only want to make a 6 figure incoming and if that's not where you are at don't even bothering answering the ad, then they tell you that this type of position only comes around once in a life time. They leave you to believe you are then only 2 or 3 people being hired but they are hiring around 10 - 15 people every week, because people don't stay long if they aren't making money.
They also lead you to believe you can either go straight commission or salary, most pick salary, but few get paid even off the salary not unless you put in any where from a 50 to 80 hour work week to meet your quota. You don't meet the quota, you don't get your full pay check which in minimal. Very few people are making money, so the turn over is high. When asked if they have a high turn over they will tell you no. They bring 10 people say you have 5 days of training and you are only paid on 3 days of training or 4 and by Wednesday they are kicking you out to sale on the floor, because we a brighter then usual group, there real reason is this, Because on THursday they have Mortgage Brokers in Town that are going to look at the program and they want a full office with busy people to make it look impressive.
Then they try to sale Mortgage Brokers on the idea that they have realtors right in there area that are willing to give them all the loan referrals they want, which isn't true at the time you are speaking with the Mortgage Broker, when communicating this to the Mortgage Broker they often ask if this will fly by R.E.S.P.A. We are always told that if we here that word we need to get a business manager on the phone and we can't say any thing else, but we are a brighter then usual group, right?! In Section 8 of RESPA it quotes that you can cannot give any thing of value in exchange for a referral. From they day I started I was bounced around like ping pong ball and every time I tried to ask what the compinsation plan was I was told you need to discuss it with your manager, you don't hear about it until 4 day's later after you've put in about 14 to 18 hour days and only paid on 18 of those hours, because the rest is quoted "HOME WORK". Stay away it's a huge waste of time. They'll dangle the carrot but very few get to bite. I lost 3 great job interviews in between the horse and pony show they had going on. And guess what? They were getting ready to hire more people.
They aren't straing up and your sales is based on bullshit, yet they have you listed to Zig Ziggler about the only way you make a sale is based on Credibility, if your believeable or not, and being a good person, which makes you an honest person, nothing honest going on if you have to lie to the person or twist things around to get some one to buy. If you any one buys in it's based on out of greed! Or plain desperation.
