On Saturday 8/25, I placed an order with ImageCanvas online. I used a Living Social voucher for the picture I purchased, but I was charged for shipping. I should have known something was "up" when I immediately received an email saying this was their busy season & to expect a delay (they didn't specify how long that would be).
On 9/22, I inquired about my order since I had not heard anything from this company regarding my purchase after my confirmation email. When I was contacted back, I was informed that I had "missed" an email from them regarding an issue with the quality of picture I had sent. The picture was from a high resolution SLR camera.in an email to me, the creative team (who uses email [email protected]) let me know I needed to either submit another picture or I could receive a sub par canvas from them. As this was to be a gift for a friend & the pic was from his trip to Europe, there was no other picture available. I asked for a refund.initially I thought I had to have them "reactivate" the voucher I used. Living Social let me know that didn't need to happen, and refunded the cost of my voucher. I have been requesting a refund for over a week, but I keep getting the run-around. They have refused to do so until Living Social refunds my voucher - which was done Monday.
