Tony Balthrop from ALB Hotels based out of Chester Virginia is a complete crook! He poses as a hotel owner and has a bogus website. He goes around contacting bank asset managers and hotel brokers and tries to purchurse REO hotels. He produces fake brokerage account statements stating that he has millions of dollars in his account to close the transaction. Once he is in escrow to buy the hotel he never closes the transaction because he doesn't really have any money. He states that he is based out of Chester, Virginia but his home was foreclosed on in Chester. He tries to take possession of the hotel and run the business until he is forced out. Any bank/broker/asset manager please don't waste your time with this guy! He will never close the transaction and is a complete waste of time not to mention a legal nightmare! Shame on you Tony Balthrop and ALB Hotels for stating that you were a legitimate company hoaxing hard working people into spending countless hours on deals that you full well knew you couldn't close!
