Complaint: Prison lines promises to provide their clients with a selection of prepaid minutes, rollover minutes, month to month billing and a local phone number (used for forwarding purposes) to lessen the prices of prison calls. They specifically state on their home page that "we cover all facilities" and also state that clients may "cancel whenever you want". The service does not do that.in fact, the minutes provided by Prison Lines are not usable by phone companies in contract with state prisons (for example, in all florida prisons * * * *). It is against these phone companies policies to (1) Allow call forwarding (2) Use pre-paid minutes provided by Prison Lines or companies like this. It is false advertising on the part of Prison Lines (prisonlines.com) and fraud, since they have a NO FULL REFUND policy after 30 days of supposed use. I have called this company numerous times to cancel the service and wasn't able to get through. When finally connected to a representative I was told that even though none of the services where able to be used, I would not be refunded. It was never used and they knew the number would not work in florida
