I completely paid a $2,000.00 premium from 1/13/09 - 1/13 for platinum service ("the works") for my 2 cars to this company. My contract does not expire until 1/13. However, when I went to use it for the first time to replace an a/c compressor on 8/13, I was informed by the Honda dealer that this business had gone bankrupt in 2010 (while I was still paying premiums). My out - of-pocket expense for this repair was $1,045.64. My legal consultation fee with "Just Answer" Consumer Protection amounted to $69.00.

Thus I calculate the the Seller, U.S. Fidelis, the the financial/billing company, the Mepco Finance Corporation, as well as Consumer Direct Warranty Services all conspired to defraud me of $3045.64 and caused me to incur $69.00 worth of legal fees so far resulting in the total amount given above.

What is my recourse since all phone and fax numbers, except for Mepco, are no longer in service? I spoke with a Mepco reprsentative (Anthony at 1 312 601 2273) who said I needed to contact the insurance company that insures Consumer Direct Warranty Services. Just how is that information to be found since its name is not known and there is no way to contacft Consumer direct Warranty Services?
