Mepco / First National Warranty / Consumer Direct Warranty Services
Sold a Car Warranty, collect almost all payments, cancelled agreement, refused to refund, Illinois / Fort Lauderdale, / Redding, California

I bought a car warranty through First National Warranty in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on October. I was instructed to send payments to MEPCO in Carol Stream, IL. And received a kit to apply to my car to activate the agreement from Consumer Direct Warranty Services on Redding, Ca.

On february 25th MEPCO cancelled my policy instructed my Consumer Direct Warranty Services, but received a payment of $107.67 on 2/27/09. When I called MEPCO they told me to call CDWS @ 800-209-3755 and they told me that the agreement was cancelled because they did not receive any payments from First National Warranty which is out of business. I was advised to call my bank and dispute all the payments done. So, MEPCO and CDWS said that they are not responsible for the refund and don't have any contact information for First National Warranty! I think this is a big SCAM! Please HELP!
