I tried to return a shower cap for which I didn't keep a receipt. The item was provably from the store (Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN) but the manager would not take it. It was obviously defective product that they sold, knowing about the defect (I looked at reviews later and many people had pointed out leaking, no matter how is installed). As a customer I really keep receipts because I don't plan to return items, but when there are obvious defects any store usually would take the item back - obviously not Hope Depot.
