The salesman (Keith Walker) representing Empire Carpets misinformed us about the type of carpet that was eventually laid. (Whether this was deliberate or out of ignornance I do not know.) After many calls and email mails and a letter offering legal action the saleman responed within 5 minutes. I begged him to come to the house and see what kind of carpet he had sold us. He lives about 10 miles from here. He offered to come here on a Wed. Night during which we are busy. His excuse was that he worked 14 house a day and could not come at other times. I have called, and called, and sent emails and they will not respond to this present date of July 20th.
Empire's email address will not work. I have called many times and am always put on hold. Within 2 minutes all of these "holds" there was an automatic click off, every time. I phone the order department and spoke to "Amber." (They answered here because they thought it was a new order coming in.) Amber took my complaint and contacted a person who knew about my case, which is customer number #1-DJR4AN. My contract number with Empire is #043FAAB506. Amber told me to call this person number and they would help. Of course it was a voice machine. I left a message and still no answer. On the internet Empire is listed as a "Scam" many times. All I want is the right carpet put down or my money back. The $1,700.00 had been finaniced through GE in El Paso, Texas. My pnone number is 1-864:244-5020. Please deliver me from these crooked organizations that are helping to destory America!
