On 6/29 3:00 P.M. I came to Teddy Volkswagen dealership to lease a car.
The representative of sales department and me had conversation about a lease price for 2012 Passat. We came to an agreement about monthly payments and Finance Manager started to process necessary papers. Finance manager told me what my Credit score a low 600 and based on that my monthly payments on this car will be higher. Moreover he mentioned that I only got an approval from Volkswagen Credit just because this was not the first car I am leasing from this company, and if I try to go to a different company I may not get approval from bank at all. I was really surprised to hear this news, because I know that I pay all my bills on time. But I thought that Finance Manager may have access to some hidden information and he knows what he is talking about. I signed my lease papers and gave my credit card to charge for fees they told me I have to pay. I was shocked to see almost $3000.00 in initial fees. I never pay that much, but the same Finance Manager told me I have to pay this money.
I took the car Passat 2012 and left the store. That was Friday 6/29 7:00 pm.
Next day I was constantly thinking why my credit score dropped so low. I checked my credit score from 3 different Credit Bureaus and the results were 747,719, and 709. I could not believe Teddy Volkswagen representative’s lies. I, also, called Sunrise Volkswagen where I leased my two previous cars and asked them to check my credit score with Volkswagen credit.
My score was 712. I realized that I was a victim of a scam and Teddy Volkswagen just ripped me off.
On Sunday 7/1 I was at Teddy Volkswagen Dealership by the time of store opening.
I went to talk to General Manager of the store about this situation. I asked to change the lease agreement, because this was not right. I explained him about a lie. He was not nice to me at all, instead he refused to cooperate, started to scream at me and promised to destroy my credit score altogether. He said the dealership cannot help, because this car is already mine. Finance Manager even refused to admit his statement about my credit score. He said that he never checked it at all. I asked the manager of dealership to cancel the contract flat out. That was Sunday and I know all paperwork was still at the Dealer ship, because nobody sends any papers on weekends.
I was insulted by administration of this dealership. I told them, what I do not want to have any business with such a store. I declared the cancelation of GEICO insurance on this car, and I left the car and keys at the store. I stated that I will lease a car from a different dealership. The next moment I canceled my Insurance on this car.
A couple day after that I found out that Teddy Volkswagen committed another fraud. They sent all paperwork, including insurance card with cancelled policy, to Volkswagen Credit and opened an account in my name with Volkswagen Credit. Now I have to pay for a car I do not possess.
I got a call from Teddy Volkswagen and they told me I have to take this car. At the same time administration of Teddy Volkswagen sent to DMV insurance card with cancelled insurance policy and registered 2012 Passat in my name without insurance. It was one more fraud from Teddy Volkswagen store.
Now this car is registered in my name and I have to take it from dealer ship, to avoid any problem in future. I am trying to find somebody who will be willing to buy this car from me, because Teddy Volkswagen refuses to take it.
